I ran into a 4 year old Tuxedo Cat, Mr Stewart who had befriended a dog being walked outside a local apartment complex nightly. He had been abandoned by a previous owner, when she moved. Turns out the Lady with the dog was a Petsmart Employee. She placed him in their adoption program. I had lost my 2 Cats a month before, after 20 years with them. I decided I’d had enough of the long haired Himalaya Persians, with their pug noses. So Mr Stewart has a new home, with a screened in back porch. it’s a cat, have you ever heard In your ear drums that they spray! especially if they’re wild, cats mark their territory. Especially a new house that someone is letting them in. Even if that cat is friends with the dog, that cat is thinking to its self this is my spot now! This seems so sketchy….let’s let a stray cat that is being exposed to who-knows-what play with our dog!……hope the dog is up to date on his rabies. It’s nothing strange that cats have 2 or three owners, they go from house to house a some times if they are mistreat in one of this places they just don’t come back. That’s not a feral cat that has to be someones pet who probably used to have a dog as well we had a cat that would be fed around the neighbourhood he was no stay.
