I would like my children meet you one day, you are a good exemplar for them. Great baseball player but off the field he was magnificent.. Saw him play in Braves Field…electric! When on base, Every eye was on him…like Larry Bird.. If it hasn’t been said here, I recommend watching about Jackie Robinson 42 on Netflix, with the indomitable actor Chadwick Boseman (RIP).. We should try and leave this world a little better than we found it.. Jackie Robinson and Hank Aaron were two of the most Extraordinary Baseball Athletes, in American History! I am extremely proud to be Black American because of them!. My Nephew read his story because he’s a baseball player and he asked a lot of questions at age 11 at the time .. Happy Heavenly Birthday!. Jackie was class. He left the world a little better place, because of his incredible integrity.. You have such a way with words! I miss that!
