Canada was one of the first countries to teach ukulele in schools, with many music students studying the ukulele under the music program invented by John Doane.
Although the ukulele is still associated with traditional Hawaiian music and culture, the development of different types of ukulele has led to its popularity in many different musical genres. Over the past twenty years the Ukulele resurgence has maintained, with a huge number of Ukulele players entering the new millennium. The Ukulele revival in the 1990s also led to the Ukulele being used more and more in pop concerts and pop covers.
In Vietnam in recent years, Ukulele has been widely received from children, students, students in Ukulele clubs in schools, and a large number of adults who love music to professional performers.
