Well done David Beckham ! Poppy time is so important and the Chelsea Pensioners are a wonderful example to us all.!!. As much as I support Royal British Legion and anything else with this topic, I just cannot get on board with anything The Sun newspaper has to say! I’m surprised you use them as a place of reference . Absolutely in support of poppy appeal…. but not those supported by that newspaper sorry not sorry . Veteran be strong be brave be humble be badass poster. I wear a poppy all year round as I have one on my arm as a tattoo however I always have one on desplay you can never forget the people who saved this country THANK YOU for all you have done for this country words can never be enough xxx. Is there nothing this guy doesn’t do it’s about time he got honoured Sir. We had poppies in our family and wore them every year!!

Etched in my memory, jumping up and down with the World Cup, thanks for the memories RIP.. Wow, so sad. One of the Great Heroes of “Three Lions”. Great source of inspiration. Nobby would be red carded in the warm up these day. Absolutely ferocious in the tackle. RIP Nobby. A true gentleman and legend . He invented “bites your legs” well before Norman Hunter.. Nobby had such an important part in bring us our first European trophy at Manchester United.. forever red, RIP Nobby. His legacy will always live on…. remember Brian Kidd’s first game at old Trafford,Think it was Eddie Mcreadie, took Kidd out, Nobby run half the field to take him out, protecter of the young ones RIP . Growing up my Dad used to say “He’s as Wiley as Nobby Stiles” when we saw a good bit of defending standing at the Cuckoo Lane end at Oxfords Ground. I didn’t really understand what he meant but now I do. RIP Nobby Stiles

Nobby was the first footballer that I noticed enough to have his name on my pencil case as a distraction.. Growing up in the Midlands in the 60’s Nobby was a legend, a true legend.. Sad…I’ve lived in the states since the late 70’s but will always remember Nobby and the 1966 Magic day !!!!. No no we can’t lose Nobby, his toothless smile always cheered me up.. Had the privilege to see him play . First saw Nobby beating my team, Chester, in 3rd round of FA Cup in 65. He lost his teeth in the mud at this game and never put them back in for the rest of his career! RIP (Happy) Nobby Stiles.. I was little george back then I’ve clean this mans boots a great time as a boy thank you nobby for your time R.I.P. legend xXxAONxXx. Memory of Nobby dancing round the field after a World Cup win will never fade ! Rest in Peace, Nobby
