Don’t ever give your dog bones. Real bones can chip or break and are dangerous for the dog. Rawhide is proven healthy and great for teeth as well, but don’t be tempted to share that T-bone, no matter what kind of eyes your dog gives you. Trim your dog’s nails on a regular basis.
Long nails cause huge amounts of pain. Simply purchase a pair of clippers from the store. If you aren’t comfortable with this, invest a little money and take your dog to the groomers.
