On Monday, Madonna had posted another Instagram post about the incident, as she called for gun control in a caption alongside a picture of herself behind a shattered glass from a bullet.
‘There have been over 130 mass shootings in the U.S. So far and we’ve only gotten to April,’ the singer began in her caption.

In July last year, Madonna herself was called a ‘Karen’ as a slur after she re-posted coronavirus conspiracy theories online. The post was flagged by Instagram for containing misinformation and eventually taken down.
